Mediation training

Carol Dawson Training and Mediation Consultancy is an Approved Open College Network Training Centre.

As well as the 6-day Open College Network accredited Training Programme in Mediation Skills, a range of other non-accredited mediation courses are provided. Bespoke courses are designed to meet the needs of the clients.

Carol has delivered accredited and non-accredited training to Social Housing Landlords and local authorities for many years and having worked in social housing for 19 years she understands the demands on officers in dealing with anti-social and nuisance behaviour.

Mediation Services

Carol has extensively trained and practiced in all aspects of mediation, including community mediation, workplace mediation, service provider/service user mediation and Disability Conciliation. Mediation services include: workplace conflict, grievance/disciplinary cases, tenant/landlord complaints, service provider/service user complaints, community or neighbour disputes and conflict within the family.

Carol has been a mediator since 1996 and prior to forming the Carol Dawson Training and Mediation Consultancy she managed a successful mediation service. Carol is an experienced relationship counsellor, hypnotherapist and life coach and this diversity of skills, knowledge and expertise enhances the mediation and training services she provides to clients.
